Our Game

Race as messengers during the first Peloponnesian War in 430BC. Players must use a combination of travel cards and action cards to cover the treacherous lands of Ancient Greece as quickly as possible. Whoever can retrieve intel from the battlefield and return to the Home Card first is the winner and given the title of Marathon, the fastest messenger in Greece.

Action Cards

8 x per player

Use the action cards to move your token forward quicker, sabotage your opponent, or change the Terrain Cards (board). Examples: Pick + 2, Delete, Swap, Steal, Toll, Not Today, Move Opponent Backwards, etc.

This is the back side of the action card which is red and features Greek man number 1 on the front and the classic greek flowers. Ripple Delete
This image features a horse standing in a dessert with a yellow orange coloured background. This is featured on the Terrain cards . At the beginning of the game, all the terrain cards are laid out in a circle. These are the cards that the players move over with their player tokens. 
Hint: Lay less cards down for a shorter game.

This is the back of the Terrain cards which features both of the greek men and greek leaves and is black and blue in colour. There is a large gold text which says Terrain on the the card just like every card in the deck.
This is the design for the wild card. The wild card can be used to move the player forward to the next terrain card regardless of the colour of the terrain card. The wild travel card has all 5 colours of terrains on it and can be picked up either player from the travel draw pile at anytime by chance.
